Bella Vena

We did not present pasta as one dish with one mood. We gave every craving its own way to choose.

This case study features three selected designs from a broader body of work created by Matrix for Bella Vena, moving between light indulgence, rich saucy satisfaction, and a meal that completes the working day.

01

THE CHALLENGE

How can we show different sides of the experience without losing pasta’s essential appeal?

The challenge was to place Bella Vena within different moods and moments—from a lighter dish to a rich meal or a quick choice during work—while maintaining one recognisable brand presence.

02

THE DECISION

The dish and the moment change. Enjoyment remains the connection.

Each design was built around a distinct feeling through light, texture, food movement, and surrounding context, while keeping the product as the main focal point.

03

THE ROLE OF EACH DESIGN

The Lighter Side — Natural lighting and a refined composition presented the pesto shrimp pasta as a light, elevated choice without losing its sense of indulgence.

The Sauce Pull — The movement of sauce and cheese became the visual hook, making the dish’s richness and texture immediately tangible.

The Workday Break — The laptop and packaging placed the product within a real everyday moment, presenting it as the meal that completes the break and resets the day.

04

THE RESULT

The collection positioned Bella Vena as a choice that could move between a relaxed mood, a strong craving, and the pace of the working day without losing its character.

We did not create three pasta advertisements.

We created three moments worth pausing for.
